ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Applications
Used to position and securely hold a workpiece on a drill press before drilling.
Positioning the workpiece
A steel drill press vice positions and holds the workpiece before drilling. Consider the shape of the part, the hole location and the drill bit's travel together. In addition to holding the part, the vice must be properly secured to the drill press table.
Table and mounting compatibility
Before ordering, check the table dimensions, slot or hole positions and the required fasteners. The vice position must allow access to the drilling point while remaining securely mounted throughout the operation. Allow sufficient drill bit clearance, including the space beneath the workpiece.
Which size should you choose?
This series includes 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 mm models. Consider the width and height of the workpiece and the portion held between the jaws. Round or irregular parts may require a special clamping arrangement; fitting between the jaws alone does not establish suitability for the application.
Installation and daily maintenance
Secure the vice to a sturdy work surface using suitable fasteners. Before use, check the mounting, jaw cleanliness and grip on the workpiece. Remove chips and debris with a suitable brush, and follow the product's lubrication instructions when maintaining moving surfaces.
Do not extend the handle with a pipe to increase force. Use the product only for its intended purpose. If you notice damage to the body, jaws or screw, have it checked before further use.
Choosing your vice
Check the drill press table, mounting slots and workpiece dimensions. Confirm mounting compatibility before ordering.
The millimetre value in the model name does not, by itself, specify the maximum jaw opening. Please confirm the jaw opening, weight and mounting dimensions of your chosen model.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Is the model size the same as the jaw opening?
